NEW DELHI: A major accident was reported in Ahmedabad after part of an Air India aircraft crashed onto a building. Visuals from the scene showed aircraft debris lying on the rooftop of a residential structure.The Air India flight, en route to London, crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad. The aircraft was carrying over 240 passengers.
Thick plumes of smoke were seen rising from the crash site. Firefighters and emergency response teams have reached the location, and rescue efforts are underway.
