- A Mumbai-to-Baramati charter aircraft crash-landed at around 8:45 am at Baramati Airport in Maharashtra.
- Maharashtra deputy CM died in the crash.
- The aircraft was a Learjet 45 (registration VT-SSK) operated by VSR.
- The crash occurred near the runway threshold at Baramati Airport.
- There were five people on board, including crew.
- On board were Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, along with one Personal Security Officer (PSO), one attendant, and two crew members (Pilot in Command and First Officer).
- Initial information from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation indicates there were no survivors.
