A French woman, who has reportedly relocated to India, described India as safer than France in a video that is now going viral on social media. The conversation between a Nigerian YouTuber, Pascal Olaleye, and the woman has stirred mixed reactions online as she stresses that many foreigners misunderstand India due to prevailing stereotypes.The woman, a teacher by profession, has been living in India for the past two years, says she likes the culture, “which is very different from Europe,” as per the YouTube video posted by Olaleye on his channel. When asked if she thinks India is safer than France, she says, “Yes, for sure.”India, which is considered to be an unsafe place for women, has proved to be a better area than France for a female. She also shared that even if she loves staying in India, she does not plan to live here permanently, saying that she does not like being limited by geography. At one point, she also says that she shares a “hate-love” relationship with the country. “Sometimes you love India for something and the next day you hate it for the exact same thing,” she said in the video. The video, which has garnered around 74,000 views on Instagram, has led to mixed reactions among netizens. “She is correct.
